This weeks project was very tricky but I definitely enjoyed learning how to make the text show in the video. Downloading the new apps and learning how to use them will definitely help with my future projects. The most difficult part of this project was trying to find the right facts to put into the video, I couldn't put just any facts, I wanted to put enough facts so people would receive the whole entire message of the news story. My favorite part of this project was getting to go back and edit new video shots to add for this specific video.
Don't forget to tell me what you guys think of this blog post !

This weeks project has definitely been my favorite one so far. I had to the chance to be on camera! With broadcast journalism being my major I was excited when I read that I was going to be on the other side of the camera this week. It certainly gives viewers a different look at things. I interacted more with the audience. I had a lot of trouble remembering my lines especially because there were people walking around outside by where I was reporting, it definitely made me a little nervous. I would say the most difficult part of this project was having come up with an interesting intro for this story.
Overall I had a lot of fun with project and hope you guys enjoy! Don’t forget to leave any comments or advice down below.
This weeks blog project was all about learning how to create a voice over of the story I covered earlier on in week at the local Petco. My favorite part of this project was getting to actually recored myself stating the facts instead of writing them for you guys to read before watching the video. I have done voice overs before so making a voice over video was not difficult at all for me. I like that we learn something new every week in this course, it is definitely expanding my knowledge in the journalism world. Can't wait for you guys to check out next weeks blog post! Don't forget to comment any ideas or thoughts about my post you guys might have down below.
This is a news story I covered this week regarding the national adoption days here at the local Petco Inc. In Fayetteville AR. I spoke with Demo specialist, pet neutralists, and customer advisor, Savannah Ammeral about what the the pet adoptions that go on at Petco are really about. I had the opportunity to learn more about the pet adoption process and why adoption has its particular benefits.
Coming to out to record this story was definitely a lot different than asking a friend to interview for me, this project made me go out of my elements and interact with people in different ways that i hadn't before. I enjoyed this project especially because i learned more about a subject i did not know much about before. Enjoy !
